I started my celebrity list in 2003 with one intention... exposure. Yeah, that's right. Plain o'l' self-centered, self-serving exposure. My first book, Get Off Your Ass!, was being released and I wanted to garner some national attention. It worked. My list has been in newspapers across the United States, Canada, and even Europe! Who knew? Since then, however, the reasons behind my annual celebrity list have changed. Sure the exposure still benefits me but I now see the list as more of a "tongue-in-cheek" example of the difficulty all people have (even celebrities) with living a health and fitness lifestyle. The simple fact is, eating right and exercising regularly is hard. Even for stars.
